Hi there, I’m Yekemi Otaru, Director at YO! Marketing.

YO! Marketing is a strategic marketing agency based in Aberdeen city, Scotland. We work mainly with knowledge-intensive sectors such as IT, Software, Engineering and Oil &Gas.

How can content marketing help me grow my business?

They say content is king but publishing relevant high-quality content online is more than being king – it’s akin to raising an army! It creates credibility and evidence of your expertise in the field. It also improves your chances of being found by your target customer so that they come to you, not you always chasing them. A recent Hubspot research shows that regular blogging, for instance, tripled web traffic and more than quadrupled sales leads for small to medium-sized B2B companies. So, yeah, content helps your business grow.

What would it cost for me to hire YO! Marketing?

We believe marketing is an investment – obviously! We know that every marketing project is different. That’s why we offer a more bespoke service compared to traditional marketing agencies so our pricing depends on your needs. Here’s an example: We work with professional services companies to write a well-researched blog post for between £250 and £400 each month. Another client in the IT sector requires a 2,000-word e-book for their list building strategy. They also engaged with us in a content strategy workshop and then we wrote a detailed e-book that included graphic design for under £3,000. Who will I be dealing with at YO! Marketing?

Yekemi Otaru is the Founder and Principal Strategist at YO! Marketing. She is usually the main point of contact for new clients and she works hard to ensure that our clients get the best results possible. We also have consultants and partners that will engage with clients depending on the project requirements. We are fortunate to have experts in SEO, web and graphic design and web hosting as part of the YO! Marketing’s supporting services.

Which kinds of companies do you work with?

Our clients are from a variety of sectors in the B2B world. We deal with many IT and Software companies, Professional Services such as HR, Recruitment and Consultants as well as the Oil & Gas industry.

What are the different kinds of content that you create?

We help our clients write blog posts, e-books, whitepapers and we can also create website copy for a new website or an existing one being updated. As part of the variety of content that we can create, we often create infographics and simple videos e.g. a 60-second interview with a manager.

Our content is heavily researched so that we truly understand the industry, target audience and objective of the content we are creating.

Do I have to enter a retainer agreement?

No, you don’t need a retainer agreement with us. Our Content Strategy service is a one-off workshop and while most of our clients go on to secure a retainer agreement for Content Writing, we also have clients that require content for a specific one-off campaign.
